In 2013, Hilase Ltd. founded a daughter company, which was acquired in February 2014 by Hobré Instruments B.V, a world-wide recognised oil and gas company, based on The Netherlands. The new company Hobré Laser Technology Ltd. operates at Szeged as a subsidiary of Hobré Instruments B.V. and its primary business activity is the production of explosion proof photoacoustic analysers for measuring on-line H₂S, CO₂ and H₂O concentration in gaseous streams for the natural gas and oil industry.

Now, that the spin-off is completed, Hilase Ltd. is focusing again on its primary business activity of finding new application areas for its photoacoustic

analysers by performing the necessary application specific developments after which these analysers can gain

a sizeable market share on the targeted new application areas. The successful spin-off of the Hobré Laser Technology Ltd. makes us confident about the repeated success of our efforts.
