Beneficiary: HILASE Fejlesztő, Gyártó, Szolgáltató és Kereskedelmi Kft.

Project title: Support of the participation of Hilase Ltd. on foreign exhibitions for the sake of exporting its own developed aerosol measuring instrument.

The amount of contractual support: 3 183 886 Ft

The rate of support: 50%

The planned termination date of the project: 07.31.2018.

Presentation of the project’s content: Hilase Kft., founded in 2004, develops and sells laser based concentration measuring instruments. It is specialised for developing, prototyping and manufacturing instruments which measures the concentration of gases and aerosols based on photoacoustic detection principle on various application areas. Between 2013-2015 Hilase Kft. developed a new type of instrument which is capable to monitor atmospheric aerosol. The goal of this project is the foreign exhibition of this newly developed instrument in order to initiate its export.

To achieve this goal we intend to participate on the following exhibitions:

-    2017 in Zürich EAC conference organised by the European Aerosol Society
-    2018 also in Zürich there will be the ETH-Conference on Combustion Generated Nanoparticles exhibition organised by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology

Improvement of Water Vapour and Total Water Measuring Analyser in the Frame of IGAS Project

The project resulted in a highly precise, compact, measuring instrument (Hilase-Hygro) with fast response time, capable of measuring water vapour and total water content. The development work was focused on decreasing the size of the instrument and ensuring long-term operation without supervision.

The objective of the project was to advance a gas analyser for measuring the water vapour and total water content of atmospheric air, capable of operating on airplanes. The project was realised between 28.01.2013. and 31.12.2015. For the realisation of this project 2.272.062 HUF was supported for the company by the BONUS HU fund of the Research and Technology Innovation Fund.

A consortium led by Hilase Ltd. – including Videoton Holding ZRt, University of Szeged and the Pannon University (Veszprém) – successfully finished the project on “Development of a novel type of air-quality measuring instrument for real-time monitoring of the degree of aerosol hazard” (identifier: GOP-1.1.1-11-2012-0114).

The photoacoustic instrument developed during this project is capable of measuring chemical properties of aerosol based on their optical absorption, and able to monitor the degree of aerosol hazard real-time. The new product

is commercially available even as standalone or equipped with optional thermodenuder.

A consortium which is Viagra 100 mg pills led by Hilase Ltd. and also includes Videoton Holding ZRt, University of Szeged and the Pannon University (Veszprém) won a project (identifier: GOP-1.1.1-11-2012-0114) on “Development of a novel type of air-quality measuring instrument for real-time monitoring of the degree of aerosol hazard”. The project will last till middle of 2015 and Hilase aims to commercialise a photoacoustic instrument developed during this project and expects it to be one of its main business in the coming years.

February, 2014

In 2013, Hilase Ltd. founded a daughter company, which was acquired in February 2014 by Hobré Instruments B.V, a world-wide recognised oil and gas company, based on The Netherlands. The new company Hobré Laser Technology Ltd. operates at Szeged as a subsidiary of Hobré Instruments B.V. and its primary business activity is the production of explosion proof photoacoustic analysers for measuring on-line H2S, CO2 and H2O concentration in gaseous streams for the natural gas and oil industry.

Now, that the spin-off is completed, Hilase Ltd. is focusing again on its primary business activity of finding new application areas for its photoacoustic analysers by performing the necessary application specific developments after which these analysers can gain a sizeable market share on the targeted new application areas. The successful spin-off of the Hobré Laser Technology Ltd. makes us confident about the repeated success of our efforts.

Membrane permeation testing facility of Hilase is now extended to CO2 and H2S measurements at high pressures and high temperatures

For several years, Hilase routinely performs methane permeation measurements on polymer samples for the rubber, the polymer and the oil and gas industry. As a result of our latest development, permeation testing facility of Hilase is now extended to carbon-dioxide and hydrogen-sulphide measurements.
